Candid Moments

Candid moments are the hero images of every wedding. These photos are my absolute favorite and can happen at any moment and any time. During a 6-10 hour wedding day, you can imagine the number of photos my team and I take, roughly 3-5000. In that batch, candid moments are the pictures that always get the best reactions when I deliver their photos. The moments can range from laughter, crying, and even pets giving kisses. The ability to capture candids comes with years of experience and having a sixth sense about them before they happen.

Candid moments always trigger a reaction. My team and I keep a close eye on anyone you vouch as super special to you. Maybe it’s grandmas last hoorah, maybe dad doesn’t have that much longer. We always talk to you before the wedding and get an idea of who to look out for during your special day. Our whole focus doesn’t go only to them, we just know to be more alert if grandma hits that dance floor and starts ripping it up. One wedding in Paradise Valley had a random owner’s dog come running through the first dance and caught everyone off guard. It was hysterical and the couple embraced the moment as it was a random experience that everyone enjoyed. Lastly, you’ll find some of my favorite and most powerful moments throughout recent weddings.
