Bachelorette Party in Las Vegas | Ideas & Etiquette

Las Vegas is the perfect destination for events and celebrations of all kinds, from business conventions to parties. This certainly includes bachelor and bachelorette parties, where you can choose from hundreds of clubs, restaurants, shows, casinos, and venues with unique themes. Let’s take a look at some key tips, etiquette, and possibilities for planning an unforgettable bachelorette party in Las Vegas.

Guidelines and Etiquette For Planning a Bachelorette Party
Before you start to consider what activities to plan for a bachelorette party, it’s important to consider some basic considerations.

  • The event is generally planned by the bride’s closest friends. However, it can also be planned by family members or even the bride herself.
  • The costs of the party are usually shared by everyone who attends, minus the bride herself of course. And sometimes, a friend or family member may offer to pay for a good part of, or even all of it.
  • Planning ahead is always a winning bet, as venues in Las Vegas are busy and often booked months in advance. Spring and Fall, when the temperatures are most comfortable, and any holiday weekend is likely to be very busy. We recommend starting planning at least three months before the event.
  • Consult with the bride. While surprises can be fun, it’s usually best to consult the bride on matters such as timing (to avoid scheduling conflicts), whom to invite, and the activities planned.

Best Events and Venues For a Las Vegas Bachelorette Party
The sky is really the limit when it comes to fun things to do in Vegas, but here are a few ideas to spark some ideas for the big event. Most often, people try to fit in several of these activities over the course of a weekend.

Cool Off at a Pool Party
For a daytime activity, nothing beats a Las Vegas pool party. It’s almost always warm enough that cooling off in a pool, with cocktails nearby, is a great way to enjoy the afternoon. There are many great choices, including Encore Beach Club, Marquee Day Club, and Daylight at Mandalay Bay, just to name a few. And we highly recommend renting a private poolside cabana, for added privacy and fun!

See a Show
No trip to Las Vegas is complete without taking in at least one show. There are perennial favorites such as Cirque du Soleil as well as newer and trending ones such as Absinthe, iLuminate, Atomic Saloon, and Opium. You may also want to check to see if any of your favorite (or the bride’s favorite) performers will be in town during the bachelorette party.

Eat a Memorable Meal
Las Vegas has no shortage of great restaurants, and you can sample just about any world cuisine here. The Palazzo has two great restaurants, LAVO Italian Restaurant & Lounge and Sushi Samba. Other renowned eateries worth trying include Brezza, Restaurant Guy Savoy, the famous Spago by Wolfgang Puck, Yui Edomae, and Lotus of Siam.

Be Pampered at a Spa
If you’re staying at one of the big hotels, you’ll have spa treatments right on the premises. Otherwise, you can find many places that offer luxurious treatments such as Swedish massage, Shiatsu, hydrotherapy, saunas, skin care, and more. Qua Baths & Spa at Caesar’s Palace has a 50,000-square-foot Roman-themed spa area with hot tubs, a Laconium sauna, and even a unique Arctic ice room. The Spa at Aria features Japanese stone beds and Shio Salt Room.

Hike in the Canyons
If you need a break from the sensory overload of The Strip or just want a change in scenery, there are a few day trips near Las Vegas to experience the desert and other natural wonders. Zion National Park is less than a three-hour drive from Las Vegas. Even close is Red Rock Canyon, which has hiking trails, rock climbing, petroglyphs, and waterfalls. Great options if the bride is an avid photographer and/or hiker.

Enjoy the Nightclubs
Going to at least one iconic Vegas nightclub is almost mandatory for a bachelorette party. To make the occasion extra special, opt for VIP service. Some of the best clubs to consider include Omnia, XS at Encore, Tao at The Venetian, and Hakkasan at MGM Grand. These clubs don’t usually open before 10, so this is a good place to end a festive evening.

Do a Bar Crawl
Bar crawls are a fun alternative to nightclubs for people who enjoy staying on the move or who prefer to drink a little earlier in the evening. Of course, if your group wants to really party, you could always do both. The LINQ area has numerous bars you can stop in, such as Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville and O’Sheas.

Plan the Perfect Bachelorette Party
It’s hard to find a better place for a bachelorette party than Las Vegas. It provides every type of diversion, entertainment, and luxury, as well as beautiful natural settings to satisfy everyone’s preferences. Plan the event well in advance, make sure you know the bride’s favorite activities and preferences, and throw a party everyone will be talking about for years to come!
